Testmonial Tuesday – Fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis

It has been said that the consumption of cannabis topically tends to be the most effective method for treating those with inflammatory issues. This is due to their interaction with the endocannabinoid system (binding with CB2 receptors).  The medication can be placed directly on the area of pain allows for faster absorption and therefore faster relief.

We were pleased to meet with a patient here at Cure Pennsylvania who suffers from fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. Ann has been using 1:1 Balance Patches, Relax Patches, and Harle Tsu 4:1 Rick Simpson Oil by Cresco. She can certainly vouch that topicals are a great anti-inflammatory! These medications are helping reduce her pain, swelling, and inflammation. She has been able to taper down off of several pharmaceuticals prescribed for her conditions, many of which are not healthy to be taken long term. At the same time, she enjoys that she is not receiving any psychoactive effects from her medical marijuiana products  and still feels she is “getting healthier with every use!”

Cannabinoids can produce beneficial biological effects even when only applied to the skin, as our patient Ann has done with these wonderful patches from Cresco, along with Harle Tsu 4:1 Rick Simpson Oil. Ingesting the RSO once a day sublingualy has helped her as well, however she finds the best relief by using it topically. We are pleased Ann was kind enough to share inspiring her story and what has worked well for her!
